Training with Justin Schold has altered my experience of working out and maintaining a healthy lifestyle!

I have never been one to enjoy going to the gym. In fact, it is safe to say that I loathed it.  Intellectually, I knew that I needed to work out in order to maintain my health -and to look good in a bathing suit-but I wasn’t happy about actually hitting the gym.  I have never felt comfortable in a gym setting.  I have always found the environment and the equipment intimidating.

When I met Justin, it was immediately clear that I could trust him.  He has a tremendous amount of patience and a very kind way about him.  He has a profound understanding of the body and a vast collection of exercises to draw upon.  He has an innate ability to customize his training sessions in a way that produces results that are unique to each person he works with.   My training sessions were always created in a way that met my individual needs.  He never made me feel like he was doing some standard or rote routine with me. 

I get bored very easily and Justin took this personality trait into consideration by putting together workout plans that would keep me interested and engaged.  Before long, I went from loathing the gym to actually wanting to go!  I found that if I kept my appointments with Justin consistent (two to three times a week) that I felt better –physically, mentally, and emotionally!  I now have a body that is unrecognizable to me!  I now have definition in areas that used to look like jello!

When I began personal training sessions with Justin, I was eating what I thought was a healthy diet.  While my diet was rich with organic fruits and veggies, lean meats, and whole grains—it was also high in white flour, dairy and sugar! Following Justin’s advice, I completed some food sensitivity testing.  As a result, I have eliminated dairy products, sugars and gluten items from my diet.  I am now feeling and looking better than I have in years.

Justin maintains such a healthy life style—he eats well and works out regularly.  It was through his example and with his encouragement that I have dropped 20 pounds!  I am proud of the way I look and even more proud of the progress I have made in the gym.

I am stronger and have developed a greater sense of balance and coordination. I am impressed with the skills he has enabled me to develop.  Never before, was I capable of completing a challenging or rigorous workout.  I am thankful that Justin saw what was possible for me to achieve.

Justin has also trained my eleven year old son.  He has an outstanding rapport with children and a clear understanding of their developmental needs.  He also demonstrates an exceptional ability to work with individuals who have injuries.  He tailors a productive session with the understanding of each person’s physical restrictions.

Justin has an impressive work ethic.  He is always on time and has never missed an appointment with me. He is passionate about what he does and his passion is apparent in the great customized training sessions he creates for each of his clients.  The support that he offers his clients is truly unmatched.
He has made such an impact in my life.  It is not an over-statement to say that my interactions with Justin have been life-altering.

I am living healthier and happier as a result of working with Justin Schold!

I'm 32 and have been athletic all my life. In the past few years I got married and had a kid and changed jobs 3 times - all very stressful. This combined with lack of exercise and proper diet put an extra 30 pounds or so on me. The thing that drove me back to the gym though was the injuries I kept getting to my knees.

Justin put me on a program of general weight training, low-impact cardio, knee/hip/ankle strengthening exercises, and a good (read: not hard to do) diet plan. Within 3 weeks my knees were completely fine - no more knee brace at the basketball court. Within the first 2 months I dropped 10 pounds and felt more comfortable going up and down stairs, etc., like it "was when I was younger" (cliché, but true). So I started almost 5 months ago, and I think I've missed 3 leg days, 1 or 2 abs days, and 0 upper body days over the course of that time. Combined with a (reasonably) good diet, the results are fantastic. I've dropped weight and put on a good bit of muscle.

I feel that training with Justin has been one of the keys to my success. He has a lot of ideas for training techniques for whatever I've asked him about (some interesting boxing training days - ouch!), and great rehabilitation techniques for hip/knee/ankle injuries.

I'd certainly recommend him to anyone that would be interested in general weight training/fitness, Nutrition, and also for injury rehabilitation.

This letter as a testimonial to the great work that Justin Schold provided to me as my personal trainer.

Justin and I were brought together by an injury I suffered to my rotator cuff. He was referred to me by my physical therapist. When I first started to train with Justin I was out of shape and did not even know what a “crunch” was never mind having the core strength to actually perform more that 5 at a time. We discussed at the onset what my goals were, and I could tell at that time Justin had more goals for me than I did.

We trained for a year together with Justin’s conscious eye looking out for my shoulder and making sure we always moved forward. The training gave me full range of motion and the pain was a thing of the past. His ability to push me and obtain goals along the way was a pure talent.

We trained and worked hard VERY early in the morning. Justin agreed to meet my schedule without ever wavering or complaining that it did not work for him. He is a very educated and conscientious trainer!.
